Join us for a one of a kind wine trip in September! You’re going to be spending 7 Days / 6 Nights in north Portugal (Porto, Douro Valley, and Monção). While you adventure through Portugal, you’re going to learn everything there is about this wine region (whether you like it or not). From helping harvest grapes, to winemaking, to dinners in the vineyard and on the beachfront, and of course.. tasting – You’re going to leave with a complete appreciation of wine: Vineyard to glass.
Unlike our flagship trips, this adventure is in partnership with de Lima’s Wine Bar. By de Lima’s, we mean this cool dude named Rafael. He who owns a small wine business in the heart of Porto, Portugal. Aside from basically being raised in the vineyards, he’s also on his WSET level 4 wine certification (i.e. he’s your go-to wine guy).
This trip is for any and all wine-lovers, so you can put any misconceptions about the snooty wine world away. We’re here to make wine approachable and fun… you know, how it was supposed to be. We can’t wait to learn and explore with you!

In partnership with Rafael de Lima 🍷
Rafael left his past life of luxury hospitality to start his small business and pursue is passion for wine.
Rafael de Lima’s is the coolest wine nerd around. Hailing from Porto, Portugal where he gives tastings daily out of his wine bar he recently acquired, Rafael is everything a wine connoisseur wishes they could be. He’s laid back, inviting, and easy to learn from. His passion for the entire process of winemaking is only overshadowed by his passion to make wine understandable for the average traveler (you).
Over the course of the last few years he has climbed the ranks and is now studying to be a WSET Level 4 reciepient. Which really means, he knows a lot about wine so ask him all the questions.

What Our Previous Adventurers are saying 💬
“I had the honor of traveling with Life Nomading to Iceland in March 2018. The experience they were able to give us was beyond what I could have imagined and hoped for. Iceland as a whole was just breathtaking, but they were able to immerse us into the culture and create a feeling that was unexplainable.“
“It was beautifully organized with enough downtime to relax. The tours were brilliants, the accommodation were divine, and the company became great friends.“
“I just went to Varna Bulgaria with Life Nomading for 10 days. I knew a couple of folks, but certainly not everyone. Not only did I absolutely fall in love with a Country that I couldn’t find on a map, I fell in love with Ian, Caroline, Sarah and Mitko! Some of the most amazing, fun and incredibly understanding people I’ve ever met!!! I had never left the Country. I failed the same foreign language twice in HS! None of that mattered. I took a chance, I said YES to this amazing opportunity, and I’m so incredibly grateful that I did! I had SO many firsts. I still struggle telling people about my trip without tearing up! I’ve already reserved my spot to Bulgaria next year! THANK YOU NOMADS!“
